In recent years, research in learning analytics has been expected to advance to the practical stage. Until now, the focus has primarily been on data collection methods, analysis methods, and the development of systems that support these processes using information technology. However, it is necessary to consider how to utilize these tools effectively and improve teaching and learning environments. In this seminar, we will invite Dr. Jennifer C. Richardson from Purdue University, who will give a lecture on the relationship between Instructional Design and Learning Analytics. Following this, we will introduce related research conducted at Kyushu University.
